Havana, a Wonder City that enchants with its mysteries, mix of cultures and emblematic places. This full day tour is the perfect option if you have little time in Havana but want to enjoy as much as possible.

Sagua Services & Travel (SST) offers opportunities to travel legally to Cuba under the OFAC General License category “Support for the Cuban People,” 31 CFR § 515.574. Our programs include activities intended to strengthen civil society in Cuba and constitute a full-time schedule that enhances contact with the Cuban people, and results in meaningful interactions between you and the locals.

Itinerary

09:00AM. This morning, put on your walking shoes and your coolest clothes, and get ready to admire the beauty of the modern city while enjoying a ride on a restored vintage car. You will visit one of the largest, most prestigious and wellknown community art projects in Cuba and the world, Fusterlandia, a neighborhood adorned with mosaic artwork as artist, Jose Fuster, has converted his home and much of the surrounding neighborhood into literal works of art. Continue your tour to the Cigar Factory Romeo & Juliet and learn a bit more about this famous Cuban product.

12:00PM. Delight your palate and enjoy local food and live music at a private paladar in Old Havana. Take into account that paladar means a small, family-run restaurant. This means you are contributing to the economic well-being of some Cuban families. One national drink is included. We recommend a refreshing Limonada.

02:00PM. Afterwards, visit the Rum Museum, and discover the history behind the magnificent buildings of Old Havana, through a walking tour. You will get lost in the charm of the Plaza de la Catedral; the Plaza de Armas, where the village of San Cristobal de La Habana was founded in 1519; the Plaza Vieja, where the famous Cámara Oscura is located; and the Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, known as the Plaza de las Palomas. Continue your walking tour to “El Floridita“, Ernest Hemingway’s favorite bar in Havana, and the cradle of the Daiquiri. As music is an integral part of the bar, you can enjoy a mix of traditional and modern Latin American music. It’s been enough walking for today! After a few daiquiris (optional), you need a comfortable, safe and yet funny ride home. Get on a Cocotaxi, a unique Cuban taxi in the world with an original and fun coconut shape.

3 to 1 days prior to tour start date, cancellation fee: 30% of tour total.
No presentation (No Show): 100% of tour total.
